Payment form It opens in a new 100% responsive window, hosted on Banco Sabadell. It is embedded in your website, but hosted on our server. Only the card fields are sent directly and securely to Banco Sabadell.

What should my website have?

According to the requirements of the card brands (Visa and MasterCard) and the Bank of Spain, any online store with a virtual POS is required to have:

  1. 'Shopping cart' or similar where buyers request the purchase of the product or service. For this, Banco Sabadell will require that the website be accessible and allow proof of purchase (in the case of web pages under construction, the merchant must provide access to its test environment).
  2. The 'Legal Notice' (or similar section) must contain the commercial name, identification (CIF), registered office and contact information of the business.
  3. The `Terms and Conditions´ (or similar section) must include the return policy.
  4. The `Terms and Conditions´ (or similar section) must include the merchandise shipping policy.
  5. In the event that the merchant works with a payment service provider, it must be previously authorized by Banco Sabadell.
  6. The address and country of the establishment must appear on any of the pages that the owner accesses during the payment process (it must be visible and never link to an external website).
  7. If a subscription service with a free trial period is offered on the web, you have to comply all the requirements indicated in this Annex.

The above requirements will be validated by the Banco Sabadell team during the Virtual POS registration process. In case one is not implemented, we will contact the merchant to modify it.

To avoid delays, we ask that the merchant verify that they have the above requirements in the registration process

Brand requirements for websites that offer Subscription with free period

When a subscription service with a free period is offered, the brands (VISA / MasterCard) require that the merchants comply with the following points:

  1. Send customers an electronic reminder and link to cancel at least 7 days before starting a recurring operation if:
  • A trial period, welcome offer or promotional period expires
  • The nature of the recurring deal has changed (for example, price or subscription period)
  1. Send an electronic copy of the terms and conditions of the subscription to the buyer, even if no amount is charged at that time. Said electronic confirmation must contain:
  • Confirmation that the cardholder has accepted the subscription, unless canceled by the cardholder
  • The subscription start date
  • Detail of goods / servicess
  • Amount of the following operations and frequency / date of the following charges
  • Link or other simple mechanism that allows the holder to easily cancel any subsequent online operation
  1. Show in the operation receipts when the agreement is established:
  • Duration of the trial period or promotional period
  • Transaction amount and date of the initial transaction (even if no amount is charged) and subsequent recurring transactions
  • Link or other simple mechanism that allows the holder to easily cancel any subsequent online operation
  1. When sending the first operation, add a descriptor in the field `Name of the merchant 'that identifies the trial period in the first operation. This descriptor (eg 'trial', 'trial period', 'free trial') will appear on the buyer's bank statements. To activate the flexible descriptor, contact the Banco Sabadell Technical Service
  1. In the first operation, the Recurring Payment Indicator must be reported, even if the amount is not the same as the one to be charged later. For this, it is necessary that they review the Annex COF (Credential on File) of this manual.
